From 2020 the RST range has replaced the RS 1:1 pads, when it comes to application suitability. However, with more stopping power and even better brake feel and control. Riders just need to be aware that the settling time is slightly increased compared to the RS type due to the longer life.

All RST pads are reinforced with NRS technology. NRS extension
(Nucap Retension System) is an advanced bonding technology
mechanical based on a matrix of steel hooks raised from the steel material of the brake plate. NRS hooks to the friction material creating an indestructible and corrosion-proof mechanical bond without the use of adhesives.

Main advantages of NRS technology compared to traditional methods:

No separation between back plate and friction material

No raised edges in the friction material, resulting in
feeling of a solid lever

No vibration between friction material and backplate
