The P037 filter, together with the P08F1-85, is the only air filter in the world with water proof characteristics (Sprint Filter patent which allows it to be the only manufacturer in the world to produce waterproof air filters for endothermic engines). The weaving of the fabric guarantees a filtration degree of 37 microns, therefore very high, which combined with the water proof capabilities makes this type of filter particularly suitable for use in harsh conditions with the presence of mud (no sand and fine dust). The ensured air passage of 4500 l./m2sec, has allowed a BMW GS 1200 equipped only with the P037 exhaust terminal and air filter, to be the fastest GS1200 in the world: 233.35 km/h, performance obtained on the lake salty from Bonneville, Utah, USA.
